Christmas Daddies comes to the Maritimes on December 6
by Andrew Pothier

I am pleased to announce that Bell Aliant will once again be partnering with CTV to present the 46th annual Christmas Daddies Telethon on Sunday, December 6.

A Maritime tradition, the Telethon raises money to provide toys, gifts, food and clothing for deserving children and families at Christmas time.

Call for Volunteers

Each year, the success of the Telethon relies on our dedicated Bell Aliant Pioneer Volunteers and employees who happily lend a hand.

Volunteer your time during the Christmas Daddies Telethon.

A pre-telethon training package will be available to all volunteers and additional training will be provided during the day of the telethon.

If you have any questions about volunteering for Christmas Daddies please email christmasdaddies@bellaliant.ca

Last year alone, over $873,000 was raised in the seven-hour event. Over 3,000 calls were received by our Bell Aliant Pioneers and employees to help make the telethon a huge success.

The Bell Aliant customer care centres at Scotia Square in Halifax and Mapleton Road in Moncton will be set up to handle the thousands of incoming calls from Maritimers wishing to make pledges during the telethon.

All funds raised are returned to the community from which they originated and are distributed throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island by the Salvation Army.

To learn more about Christmas Daddies or to make an online donation, visit www.christmasdaddies.org or place a call to one of your colleagues during the telethon.
