The BAPNB Scholarship
Foundation offers annual, renewable* scholarships to people who are physically
or mentally challenged. Each applicant is assessed on his/her academic ability,
community and school participation, plans for continued education, long-term
goals, and the need for financial assistance.
The decision of the
foundation's board of directors (or selection committee) is final.
• Complete the attached scholarship application form. Be sure to
submit all the information requested, including items that are to be provided on

• The foundation will
be submitting notification of any awards to newspapers and other media outlets
in recipients' regions. We ask that, if possible, applicants send us a
portrait-style photo with their application along with any biographic
information that we could send to media outlets if they are selected to receive
a scholarship. If, for whatever reason, recipients decide to decline the
scholarship, please send notification ASAP to the foundation president Janette
Grant at firstname.lastname@example.org.
• News agencies will be made aware of the
awarding of scholarships anytime after June 14, 2010. The winners will be posted
to this website before July 30.
• If applicants have any address changes
between the time applications are sent and June 2010, they should advise the
foundation secretary Lourdes Clancy through email: email@example.com
