Pioneer Scholarship applications now being accepted - until February 29
by Michael Sears

A message from Michael Sears, Manager, Aliant Pioneer Volunteers

Applications for the 2008 TelecomPioneers Scholarship Program are now being accepted. All applications must be sent to the Pioneer Association office in Denver, postmarked no later than February 29.

The program is open to high-school seniors who are family members of Regular (employee) Members and Life (retired) Members of TelecomPioneers. A family member is defined in the broadest sense to include immediate and extended family such as brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, stepchildren, nieces and nephews. Students need not be dependants of, or live at the same addresses, as their Pioneer relatives.

For more information or to download a copy of the application, visit the Aliant Pioneers Website.

Our Aliant Pioneer members have 58 cents deducted from each pay and this money is channeled directly into our projects and programs here in Atlantic Canada. Membership to the Aliant Pioneer Volunteers is not automatic with your employment at Bell Aliant. As long as you are a full or part time employee of Bell Aliant, xwave or Innovatia you're eligible to join.

If you would like to become an Aliant Pioneer Member, fill out the online application
