by Anna Ebsary

Congratulations to Tricon Pioneers in Bay Roberts for delivering a total of 174 “I Like Me” books to 3 schools benefiting children in 13 Kindergarten classes!

The most recent presentation was at All Hallows Elementary School in North River. Pioneer Ken Russell reported that the students were excited to see them come to their school. Ken said, “before presenting the books we read the book to them and I have to say they were very attentive. The real excitement came when they received their own personalized book and to see their names and their friends names in it”. Pioneers also presented each class teacher with a Hug A Bear and of course finger puppets for all. Attending this recent presentation were Pioneers Ken and Doreen Russell and Marie Neville.

Tricon Pioneers are helping make this a very successful Pioneer project!
