Fort Pepperrell Life Members Bill Butt and Bob Noseworthy presentes a desktop and laptop computer to Bridges of Hope Food Bank
Bridges of Hope, a local Food Bank in St. John's, is recovering from a recent break-in thanks to Fort Pepperrell Life Member Pioneers.
On March 26, 2008 a laptop computer,a monitor, some money and blank cheques were stolen from the organization, which serves food to people in need. On Monday of this week the Pioneers donated a desk top and laptop computer to the facility.
This was such a good news story it captured all kinds of media attention. It was aired on the NTV evening news, published in the Business Section of the Telegram and aired twice on VOCM radio.
